This powerful, memorable building form is inspired by Hefei’s rich cultural heritage as a center for reading, writing, learning and creativity. A circular loop connects six independent living towers for year-round weather protected circulation. At the perimeter of the property, a multi-generational commercial street and mixed-use entry plaza provides a place where seniors, family, and the community can enjoy one another within an environment that is convenient and safe.
It replicates the type of atmosphere where Chinese families have celebrated together for decades. A hospital serves residents, as well as the community, and provides health check-ups for prospective residents. Today, Phase 1 of the project, including the towers, hospital, and clubhouse, is completed.
