A place for collaborative learning, the variety of functions the building accommodates creates a vibrant, welcoming place that forms the heart of academic and social activity on campus.

As the focus of the university’s southwest campus master plan, the building’s transparency reinforces the links between the campus and its urban setting. The glass facade and open-tiered spaces provide a showcase for people using and passing through the structure.

A sunny mezzanine offers a vista of the whole campus and allows views to Dunedin and the surrounding landscape. Outdoor spaces provide places for informal student gatherings.
