We are thrilled to announce the newest addition to the Steinberg Hart family – Kelly Fehr! As our Global Business Development Leader and Associate Principal, Kelly brings a wealth of experience from working inside firms including SOM, HOK, and SmithGroup and experience as a consultant working with some of the best firms in the United States. We are excited to have her expertise fueling our innovative design practice. Kelly’s charge is to build upon Steinberg Hart’s 70+ years of success in becoming the architect of choice for leading developers, institutions, and community organizations looking to develop projects of significance.

Happy New Year! As we reflect on 2023 with immense gratitude, we look forward to and embrace all the exciting opportunities that 2024 has in store for us.

Some 2023 highlights include winning the AIA California Firm Award, the grand opening of 8 projects, and the recognition of our work through more than a dozen design awards, including the AIA National Education Facility Design Award - all of which could not have been accomplished without the dedication and hard work of our amazing team here at Steinberg Hart.

ICYMI, Steinberg Hart was honored at the 53rd Annu

ICYMI, Steinberg Hart was honored at the 53rd Annual Los Angeles Architectural Awards, winning a 2023 LABC Los Angeles Architectural Award in recognition of our Wilshire and La Jolla Tower.

Hundreds of projects from all over L.A. County competed in categories ranging from hospitality to landscape architecture. The award ceremony recognized more than four dozen architectural and design projects that change not only the way we live today, but how we will evolve going forward.

The Steinberg Hart / PCL Construction team celebra

The Steinberg Hart / PCL Construction team celebrated the ribbon cutting of our $79 Million Southeastern Live Well Center, a 60,000 SF LEED Gold, Zero Net Energy Project that promotes resident health and well-being. The new center provides essential services to over 100,000 San Diego County residents, featuring community facilities, family assistance services, trauma-informed mental health services, and behavioral health counseling, among others. Filled with over 55 works of art by local artists, the Live Well Center will have an upcoming Open House on Saturday, October 14th to share the center with the community it serves. We could not be more proud of this transformational project and can't wait to see the positive impact it will have in the years to come.

Congratulations to Steinberg Hart Partner Katia McClain and all the contributing authors of "Latinas in Architecture and Allies Vol II: Stories of raising the 1% one Latina at a time." Join the authors for a book reading and signing event tomorrow, September 28th from 6-8pm at the Center for Architecture + Design in San Francisco.

"Latinas in Architecture and Allies Vol II" offers another glimpse to the Latina and Latino experience in architecture. The stories have roots from the United States, Mexico, Nicaragua, Peru, Colombia, El Salvador, and Puerto Rico.

In her role as Partner at Steinberg Hart, Katia fuses her expertise leading complex, innovative and highly sustainable projects with her passion for championing an inclusive, people-focused culture. She serves on the board of the San Jose Downtown Association the board of the Hispanic Foundation of Silicon Valley and is a founding member of the AIA Silicon Valley’s Women in Architecture Committee.
