Featured in Architectural Record: Cal Poly San Luis Obispo is addressing the student housing shortage with an innovative modular construction plan to bring thousands of new beds to campus by 2035. With the renovation of approximately 1,300 beds in existing buildings on campus and 4,200 new volumetric modular, this Cal Poly project comes to a whopping total of nearly 5,500 new and renovated beds over the next 10 years. The multi-phase program has already begun construction, with the first building expected to be completed in Fall of 2026. It is currently the largest student housing project in the State of California.
