Named a San Diego “Top 100 Influential Leader”, Vincent Mudd brings over 30 years of experience in the AEC industry to the firm’s clients, deftly navigating the power and impacts of public policy to shepherd some of the most complicated projects in the San Diego Mega-Region to entitlement.
Vincent is a Managing Principal at Steinberg Hart, leading our San Diego Market Sector. As a licensed General Contractor, Vincent brings a unique and a practical understanding for how design teams can “begin with the end in mind” to get projects designed and planned earlier in the process. He has completed several LEED Platinum, Gold and Net Zero projects and is a champion of sustainability, earning the “Cool Californian” award by the California Air Resources Board. As an instructor at San Diego State University CES, Vincent inspired the next generation of green business leaders through his Sustainable Design and Construction course.
Highly committed to civic engagement, Vincent has served on a variety of civic and philanthropic boards in the San Diego region. He served as Chairman of the San Diego Regional Economic Development Corporation, San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce and San Diego’s Citizen’s Sustainability Task Force, and is a former director of the San Diego County Water Authority and the Metropolitan Water District. Vincent currently serves as San Diego Chapter Chair for Environmental Entrepreneurs (E2), and Director for Burnham Center for Community Advancement (BCCA).
