ProjectsCelebrating the Topping Out of CSU Dominguez Hills Phase IV Student Housing and Resident Dining

Today, we celebrated the topping-out of California State University Dominguez Hills’ Phase IV Student Housing and Resident Dining Commons — a major milestone in creating affordable, amenity-rich housing for students.
We were joined by CSUDH President Dr. Thomas A. Parham and former Senator Steven Bradford, who shared their hopes and vision for the University’s future. Under Dr. Parham’s leadership, the campus has been transformed with over six major projects in the past five years, reinforcing that this community is valued and supported.
This project will provide affordable housing for 288 students, fostering a connected, supportive community with shared lounges, collaborative spaces, and an indoor-outdoor courtyard. Following the successful completion of the 506-bed Phase III student housing project, Phase IV will include the university’s first resident-centered dining facility, offering affordable, healthy meals with indoor and outdoor seating, connecting the central campus to the residential area. The project exceeds energy performance goals and represents a strong investment in equity, inclusion, and student well-being.
Thank you to the entire project team and to our valued partners and clients at California State University Dominguez Hills and C.W. Driver Companies.
