Steinberg Hart is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Job Captain to join our team in Los Angeles. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the work of junior staff and consultants to develop and produce comprehensive project deliverables for medium-sized projects or components of larger projects. Your expertise will guide feasibility studies, schematic designs, working drawings, and project specifications, ensuring adherence to design intent and quality standards.
As a Job Captain, you will coordinate multidisciplinary teams throughout the project phases, manage consultants, delegate work assignments, and provide direction to junior staff. Your role will also involve attending internal meetings to ensure design specifications align with drawings, developing programming and site planning documents, and assisting in the development of specifications. Regular meetings with the Principal-in-Charge and Project Manager will keep projects on track and aligned with overall objectives.
